We’ve seen the tool help children successfully return to education, repair relationships between families and schools, and inform whole-school approaches to inclusion. It can also provide incredibly useful evidence when considering EHCPs, IDPs, reasonable adjustments, alternative provision or a change of educational setting.
The Assessment Tool isn’t available as a standalone download because using it well matters.
Access comes with training that explains how to complete it, understand the findings and use them to inform meaningful next steps. It’s fast becoming one of our most requested school avoidance resources, and we’ve yet to see a situation where using it hasn’t provided valuable insight.
